Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate daily production activities to meet output, quality, delivery, and cost targets
Lead, train, and motivate production personnel, including operators, technicians, and team leads
Ensure compliance with aerospace quality standards (AS9100), FAA requirements, and internal quality systems
Monitor production performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen)
Enforce safety policies and maintain a safe, clean, and organized manufacturing environment
Review work orders, production schedules, and material availability to ensure on-time delivery
Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Maintenance teams to resolve production issues
Conduct root cause analysis and corrective actions for nonconformances, scrap, and rework
Maintain accurate production records, labor tracking, and shift reports
Support audits (internal, customer, and regulatory) and ensure corrective actions are completed effectively
Qualification
Required
3–7 years of experience in aerospace manufacturing, with prior supervisory or lead experience
Strong understanding of aerospace materials, processes, and documentation requirements
Working knowledge of AS9100, FAA regulations, and quality management systems
Experience with ERP/MRP systems and production reporting tools
Proven leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Preferred
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field
