Responsibilities
Lead the design and development of the bags and accessories category, including:
Bags and luggage
Travel bags and packing cubes
Makeup and toiletry bags
Backpacks
Beach and seasonal bags
Own the category from concept through production, including sketching, material selection, trims, and construction details
Partner closely with Product Development and Production to ensure strong execution, quality, and on-time delivery
Collaborate with Merchandising to build assortments that align with brand strategy, pricing targets, and business goals
Work cross-functionally with the RTW and Print Designers to ensure cohesive color, print, and brand storytelling
Review samples, provide clear technical feedback, and problem-solve production challenges efficiently
Support growth initiatives, including future expansion into everyday handbags
Participate in line reviews and cross-departmental meetings as needed
Qualification
Required
3–6+ years of experience designing accessories, bags, or related categories
Strong production and execution skills with an understanding of materials, construction, and manufacturing processes
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple styles and timelines
Collaborative mindset with strong communication skills
Passion for playful, functional design aligned with the brand
Preferred
Experience working with overseas factories
Licensing experience is a plus but not required
Luxury background not required; brand-right design sensibility is key
