Responsibilities
Implement and monitor internal controls to ensure that accounting activities are in accordance with established legal regulatory and company policies
Responsible for the preparation of monthly financial reports and ensures that the reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles or international financial reporting standards
Effectively coordinate the practices and initiatives necessary to meet compliance standards with external auditors and underwriting entities
Oversee litigation issues related to claims, ensuring proper adjustment and settlement within policy limits and company guidelines
Recommend improvements to reduce costs and enhance revenue and ensure quality safety, and customer service standards are met
Manage and support the activities of the finance department, contribute towards improvement of processes, and maintain an environment of robust financial governance
Qualification
Required

Proven expertise as a Claims Adjuster with comprehensive understanding of policy interpretation, claim law, and insurance regulations
Strong experience in handling and overseeing litigation processes, especially those related to insurance claims
Excellent problem solving and analytical skills necessary to provide financial reporting and forecasting
Outstanding organizational skills, attention to detail and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
Highly effective communication skills, capable of handling high-level communication with internal and external stakeholders
Commitment to upholding the highest level of confidentiality and adhering to compliance and regulatory standards
