Field Representative

California Department of Justice is seeking a Field Representative to provide business analysis and support services to the Record Management Branch. Responsibilities

Provide coordination between Department of Justice (DOJ) services and criminal justice agencies helping to identify and resolve reporting and processing problems
Assess efficiency of interfaces and provide pertinent information affecting services
Analyze problems and develop solutions; conduct analytical studies and make recommendations to departmental management in such areas as program evaluation and planning, policy interpretation and system development
Plan and conduct training programs for criminal justice agency personnel in data reporting procedures and requirements
Write reports and correspondences; and may act as lead and coordinate the work of others
Independently perform varied field support assignments including, but not limited to, traveling to and interacting with law enforcement agencies; representing the department at meetings; training criminal justice agencies as needed; and staying abreast of current and new DOJ service offerings
