Responsibilities
Manage all A/R activity including collections, reconciliations, and cash application
Investigate, dispute, and resolve chargebacks (shortages, OTIF, SQEP, returns, pricing issues, violations)
Process and approve credit notes; apply credits to customer accounts
Reconcile customer accounts and manage customer data
Work extensively within retailer portals
Prepare month-end A/R reporting for management
Communicate with customers and internal teams to resolve outstanding issues
Support the Controller with additional accounting tasks as needed
Qualification
Required
Strong A/R experience in a manufacturing or consumer products environment
Proven chargeback resolution experience with big-box retailers
High proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs)
Experience with EDI and ACH payments
Local candidate willing to work fully on-site, five days per week
Preferred
Accounting experience or degree strongly preferred
