Recruiter/HR Generalist
PAL-CON, Ltd. is the industry leader in gas turbine regenerators and a local provider of hydrovac services. The Recruiter/HR Generalist will be responsible for assisting with recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and benefits enrollment, while also developing HR policies and maintaining relationships with various stakeholders.
Responsibilities
Hiring: Recruiting, interviewing, and hiring qualified candidates for open positions
Onboarding: Implementing new hire orientation and employee recognition programs
Benefits: Facilitating enrollment
Policies: Developing and implementing HR policies and procedures, and ensuring compliance with local and national regulations
Communication: Creating and distributing internal communications, and assisting with the communication of employee handbooks, directories, and organizational charts
Relationships: Developing and maintaining relationships with employment agencies, vendors, and stakeholders
Consulting: Consulting with and managing internal and external partners, such as legal counsel and benefits plan vendors
Qualification
Required
3-5 years of relevant Recruiting/HR experience
Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent experience
Ability to communicate well with both employees and management
Ability to develop creative solutions to employee problems
Ability to keep sensitive information private
Ability to identify and attract the right candidates for a job
Ability to identify employee skill gaps and design/deliver training programs
Familiarity with employment laws
Ability to create a safe space for employees to share their concerns
