Responsibilities
Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patient's health or situation
Advocate for patients as part of the interdisciplinary team
Analyze the assessment data to determine the diagnosis or issues
Identify expected outcomes for a plan individualized to the patient and the situation
Act as an advocate for patient safety
Ensure effective care and use of time, supplies, and equipment
Educate patients regarding their medications, procedure and treatments, providing patients and their families with support throughout their stay
Qualification
Required
Registered Nurse (RN) license
Experience in medical-surgical nursing
Ability to make clinical assessments and manage treatment autonomously
Compassionate and reliable demeanor
Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
Comfortable with a 7:1 nurse to patient ratio
Ability to collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patient's health or situation
Advocacy for patients as part of the interdisciplinary team
Ability to analyze assessment data to determine diagnosis or issues
Identification of expected outcomes for individualized patient plans
Advocacy for patient safety
Effective use of time, supplies, and equipment
Ability to educate patients regarding medications, procedures, and treatments
