The role involves processing invoices, check requests, and interacting with vendors and internal personnel to ensure accurate and timely financial transactions.
Responsibilities
Assist in data entry of prepaid checks, matching checks with vendor invoices to be paid
May prepare expense invoices, payable checks and analyses of vendors and accounts; respond to vendor inquiries in a timely, professional manner
May process deduction vouchers
May audit freight bills against freight manifests and receiving documents
May assist in monthly closing of ledgers
Print reports for management or other departments; maintain accurate records
Back up other accounting or administrative support staff, as needed
Performs other related duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent Experience
Proficiency in Excel and all MS applications
Preferred
6 - 12 Months experience in Accounts Payable
