Responsibilities
Work with staff economists exploring a quantitative project that combines a frictional labor market within a heterogenous agents New Keynesian (HANK) model
Analyze the effects of various fiscal and unemployment policies and examine the outcomes under different types of aggregate shocks
Qualification
Required
Graduate student in economics
Strong academic record with 2-3 years of graduate education preferred
Experience in working with quantitative economic models, ideally with HANK models featuring an endogenous income process via an explicit modeling of the labor market
Familiarity with Julia, and with parallelization and GPU programming in Julia is highly desirable
