This role will support multiple manufacturing sites and work closely with site accountants, operations leadership, and corporate finance, focusing on financial reporting, compliance, and process improvement.

Responsibilities
Review and approve financial statements for 4–5 assigned mills
Approve journal entries and review balance sheet reconciliations
Provide accounting support and guidance to mill accounting teams
Prepare segment-level month-end performance and management reports
Track and analyze capital project costs, monitoring spend versus budget
Review quarterly audit lead sheets for assigned mills
Support external quarterly reviews and annual audits
Ensure audit requirements are completed accurately and on schedule
Ensure compliance with internal controls and SOX requirements
Support SOX and internal control testing as assigned
Support reporting transition to Oracle EPM
Participate in system design, training workshops, and user testing
Lead and coordinate implementation of standardized accounting processes
Drive process improvements aligned with business control objectives
Partner with the Director and finance leadership to develop mill accountants and their teams
Support training, performance development, and best practice sharing
Build strong working relationships across finance, operations, and leadership teams
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business
5–7 years of related accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively across multiple locations
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel required)
Accounting: 5 years (Required)
SOX: 3 years (Required)
Preferred
CPA designation or progress toward CPA preferred
Experience with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) and internal controls preferred
Supervisory or leadership experience preferred
Experience with Oracle financial systems preferred
