This role focuses on network infrastructure reliability, automation, and optimization within mission-critical data center operations.

Responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain data center network infrastructure using Arista switches and EOS
Configure and support Layer 2/Layer 3 networking, including VLANs, VXLAN, EVPN, BGP, OSPF, and MLAG
Manage spine-leaf architectures and modern data center network designs
Monitor network performance, troubleshoot outages, and perform root cause analysis
Automate network operations using Python, Ansible, or Arista CloudVision
Collaborate with systems, cloud, and security teams to support hybrid and on-prem environments
Perform hardware installs, upgrades, and lifecycle management
Create and maintain network documentation, diagrams, and operational procedures
Participate in on-call rotations and scheduled maintenance windows
Ensure network security best practices and compliance standards are met
Qualification
Required
7+ years of experience in data center networking
Hands-on experience with Arista Networks (EOS, CloudVision preferred)
Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, and switching protocols
Experience with BGP and VXLAN/EVPN
Familiarity with automation and scripting (Python, Ansible, APIs)
Experience troubleshooting large-scale, high-availability environments
Understanding of Linux-based systems and data center operations
Excellent communication and documentation skills
Preferred
Arista certifications (ACE, ACE-A, or ACE-P)
Experience with cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP) connectivity
Knowledge of firewall and security integrations
Experience with virtualization platforms (VMware, KVM, Kubernetes networking)
Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
