Donor Database Specialist
One80 Place is a nonprofit organization focused on supporting fundraising and donor stewardship efforts. The Donor Database Specialist is responsible for maintaining the integrity and accuracy of the Raiser's Edge NXT database, processing gifts, and assisting with donor outreach and event support.

Responsibilities
Maintain and update donor records in Raiser’s Edge NXT to ensure accuracy and completeness
Process all incoming gifts, including checks, credit card, online, ACH, and stock in a timely manner
Ensure all gifts are accurately coded according to the database manual
Deposit checks via in-house banking software and physically at the local bank branch
Perform regular data audits to ensure clean and reliable donor records
Ensure accurate reconciliation of donor records between Raiser’s Edge NXT, Merchant Services, and Financial Edge NXT, working in collaboration with the Finance Department
Update Raiser’s Edge manual as needed
Generate gift acknowledgement letters, ensuring they are customized, up-to-date, and sent promptly
Respond to donor inquiries, gift-related questions, and special requests
Generate calendar year-end gift receipts and other pertinent tax documentation for donors
Create and send personalized reminders for outstanding pledges and work with the Finance Department on any write-offs
Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual reports for development metrics and board reporting
Assist with direct mail process by running queries and lists and preparing exported lists for the mail house
Assist in the execution of fundraising appeals and annual giving campaigns, including direct mail, email appeals, and online giving initiatives
Research all prospects and provide a monthly report to the Development Team to inform strategy
Provide data-driven insights and reports to inform fundraising strategies and improve donor engagement
Assist the Development Team in managing event logistics including RSVPs, registration, guest lists, and donor recognition efforts
Other projects and duties as needed to support the Development operations at One80 Place
Qualification
Required
A Bachelor's degree is preferred, or a combination of education and relevant experience will be considered in lieu of degree
At least two years' experience in data entry and database management, preferably in a nonprofit setting
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Strong written and oral communication skills
Understanding of development operations and donor stewardship
Ability to work both independently and as part of a fast-paced, results-driven team
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
Strong attention to detail
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret donor data and fundraising trends
Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
Excellent organizational and time management abilities
Ability to communicate effectively
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Ability to move between different service locations
Preferred
Knowledge of Blackbaud Raiser's Edge NXT or similar Donor Management Software preferred
