Regional Sales Engineer / Specialist

Responsibilities
Serve as a technical resource to customers - understanding applications, recommending SPIROL solutions, and supporting design-in efforts
Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and customer service teams to deliver accurate, timely solutions
Develop and maintain strong relationships with OEMs and key decision-makers
Prepare and deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations and proposals
Determine pricing, including supply terms and conditions
Monitor regional market trends, competitor activity and customer feedback
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology or related technical field
Experience in technical sales, application engineering or industrial sales
Strong interpersonal, presentation and negotiation skills
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Familiarity with CRM systems and consultative sales methodologies
Ability to prioritize multiple functions to meet required deadlines
Excellent communication skills both verbally and written
Preferred
Equivalent technical selling experience considered
Experience selling into industrial, OEM or manufacturing markets preferred
Background in fasteners, precision components, mechanical systems or engineering products preferred
