Responsibilities

Develop hands-on Production Engineering skills used to support the manufacture of military missile systems
Learn how to read and interpret engineering drawings & specifications to develop manufacturing processes, special tooling, and unique factory equipment
Utilize software systems to develop manufacturing work instruction, analyze data, support test troubleshooting, and design/document process flows
Investigate root cause of failures/defects and implement preventative/corrective actions to support continuous improvement

Required

Pursuing a Bachelors degree in Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace or related discipline from an accredited university
Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access
Lockheed Martin will assist selected candidate with obtaining at least an Interim Secret Clearance prior to starting
The candidate must be able to pass a Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (“ATF”) background check to obtain approval to be an “employee possessor” (of explosives or other ATF-regulated items) as defined by ATF regulations

Preferred

Applied knowledge of manufacturing assembly and test methods, industrial processes, factory automation, technical writing, and teaming
Strong hands-on mechanical assembly and disassembly skills
