Pritchard Industries is a National Facilities Service Company seeking an experienced Director of Strategic Sourcing (Subcontracted Services). The role is responsible for designing and executing a national subcontracting strategy to support the company's expansion while optimizing subcontracted categories for cost, quality, and compliance.

Responsibilities
Define the Subcontracting Roadmap: Design and implement a comprehensive sub-strategy aimed at maximizing both financial and operational performance across all regions
Decentralized RFP Leadership: Architect and lead high-magnitude, nationwide RFPs that respect the nuances of a decentralized environment while leveraging our total national scale
Growth Alignment: Build and scale a Preferred Vendor Program specifically designed to support Pritchard’s aggressive expansion and new market entries
Framework Development: Stand up a robust Performance Management Framework (KPIs/SLAs) to ensure all third-party partners meet Pritchard’s exacting standards for quality and safety
Operational Partnership: Act as a strategic consultant to our regional Operations teams, ensuring that sourcing initiatives directly translate to superior quality and service for our end customers
Supply Chain Resilience: Proactively identify and mitigate risks within the supply chain, ensuring continuity of service in critical categories
Value Engineering: Lead aggressive supplier negotiations that move beyond unit pricing to focus on Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and value-added service delivery
Strategic SRM: Cultivate executive-level relationships with key national business partners, ensuring Pritchard is a "customer of choice" in a competitive labor market
Financial Accountability: Manage the subcontracted portfolio with an owner’s mindset, delivering measurable impact to the bottom line while maintaining high customer satisfaction scores
Qualification
Required
8–10+ years of progressive experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or management consulting
Proven experience managing multi-million dollar spend portfolios with a nationwide geographic footprint
BS/BA in Supply Chain, Business, Economics, or a related field
Advanced Negotiation: Ability to lead complex, multi-party negotiations that deliver long-term value beyond just price
Analytical Rigor: Proficiency in performing deep-dive financial analysis and translating data into actionable executive-level recommendations
Change Management: Skilled at influencing internal stakeholders in a decentralized environment to adopt new sourcing processes
Communication: Exceptional written and verbal presentation skills, with the ability to interface with C-suite leadership and local site managers alike
Agility: Ability to manage multiple high-priority projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, expansion-oriented environment
Preferred
Specific experience in the subcontracting or facilities management industry is highly preferred
MBA or professional certification (e.g., CPSM) is a significant plus
