Responsibilities
Bring our brand to life through visual storytelling by designing high-fidelity prototypes, UI elements, and polished visual assets that align with our design system
Create iconography, illustrations, infographics, and data visualizations that reflect and reinforce our brand identity
Author visual content in CMS platforms
Ensure visual consistency and accessibility across all digital touchpoints, with a strong focus on AODA and WCAG compliance
Collaborate with cross-functional teams – including UX, Content, Strategy, Motion, Marketing, and Front-End Development – to deliver on brand design solutions
Create impactful presentations that simplify complex concepts and engage diverse audiences
Present design concepts to peers and Senior Visual UI Designers
Embrace feedback and implement changes efficiently and effectively
Stay curious and engaged with emerging visual design and industry trends and actively share insights with the team
Balance big-picture thinking with attention to detail in every aspect of your work
Qualification
Required
1-3 years of experience in Visual UI Design or a related field
A strong portfolio showcasing a range of Visual UI design work, including branding, marketing materials, websites, social media
A degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Multimedia, or a related discipline
Solid understanding of visual design principles – typography, colour theory, layout, and branding
Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, PowerPoint, etc
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
A passion for design thinking and solving problems with creativity and empathy
Stay curious and engaged with emerging visual design and industry trends and actively share insights with the team
Balance big-picture thinking with attention to detail in every aspect of your work
Preferred
Experience working in agile environments is an asset
RGD certification is a plus
