Responsibilities
Maintain all the Refrigeration equipment in the building
Maintain all HVAC equipment in the building (guestrooms, public areas, function rooms)
Maintain all kitchen equipment in the building
Maintain all Laundry equipment in the building
Provide technical assistance to other engineers as necessary
Work on other projects as needed
Maintain inventory and orders all equipment supplies
Have a thorough understanding of Omni fire alarm procedures and other emergencies
Have a thorough understanding of Omni Hotel rules and regulations
Maintain all equipment according to equipment preventive maintenance program
Make all repairs according to manufacture specifications
Maintain engineering shops
Maintain engineering inventory
Qualification
Required
Previous maintenance experience
Minimum of two years hotel and/or commercial building maintenance
One year of commercial kitchen and laundry equipment experience
Previous experience with response to emergency situations
Good communication skills
Attention to detail
Time management skills
Computer skills
Guest satisfaction skills
The ability to stand/walk for long periods of time
The ability to bend, reach over-head, squat, kneel for extended periods of time
The ability to lift/carry/push/pull up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 100 pounds occasionally
The ability to utilize step stools and ladders
Must be able to work AM, PM, overnight, weekend and holiday shifts
Preferred
608 HVAC license
Electrical Journeyman License
Refrigeration experience
