Inventory Control Manager
Armoire is a clothing rental membership built for working women, offering personalized clothing recommendations. The Inventory Control Manager oversees inventory quality and efficiency, leading a team to enforce standards, manage audits, and drive process improvements while collaborating with Operations and external partners.

Responsibilities
Own and enforce quality standards for all garments, including cleanliness, wear, and functionality
Oversee and drive efficiency improvements end-to-end Incoming Inventory processes (dry clean receiving, QC, prep for restock, restock)
Identify defects, damage, or wear and determine appropriate allocation advisements for team
Develop and continuously improve inspection checklists, SOPs, and quality benchmarks
Manage, coach, and develop a team of Inventory Control employees
Facilitate opportunities for learning and process refreshes for team members to maintain up to date processes
Collaborate with OPS department managers to schedule and shift staffing resources as needed
Conduct performance reviews and support hiring, onboarding, and disciplinary actions as needed
Ensure proper handling, storage, and labeling of inventory to prevent damage or misplacement
Manage inventory audits with the goal of recovering inventory and identifying root cause of errors and drive process improvements
Analyze trends in damage, loss, and quality issues to drive process improvements
Manage liquidation channel partnerships, internal and external
Keep up with Inventory Capacity, track and report when getting close to capacity, and arrange expansions and adjust layouts to aid expansions
Act as the primary point person for external dry cleaning partners
Communicate quality standards, turnaround times, and volume expectations
Monitor cleaner performance, including cleanliness, garment handling, and delivery
Address quality issues, resolve discrepancies, and escalate concerns when necessary
Track and report on team work rates, investigate workflow of high performers
Identify root causes of recurring issues and implement corrective actions
Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations to keep team up to date on new processes to ensure most efficient processes are are being upheld by employees. Cross training or helping cross departments
Support continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce costs
Qualification
Required
