Responsibilities

Provides leadership and direction for institutional teams supporting project and maintenance tasks
Primary functions across the teams are high impact/high exposure and include the following group level functions: onboarding new plans, plan and service-related changes, data / payroll onboarding and maintenance, Agreements, and Deconversion activities
The position partners across the organization with various departments, levels and our field force to serve our annuity and mutual fund group clients
Maintaining readiness metrics and supporting senior management through data driven decisions, information dashboards, and executive level reporting
Implement process improvements to increase the efficiency and quality of work generated by your teams
Monitor capabilities to ensure market competitiveness
Consult with business area senior leaders to identify core business objectives, gauge existing business performance, identify performance gaps and develop strategies to close those gaps
Provide mentoring, coaching and instruction to Business Champions, Black Belts, Green Belts, and team members across a portfolio of business improvement initiatives
Be a change agent and work to instill a culture of diversity and thought leadership throughout the organization

Required

5+ years of onboarding defined contribution plans
5+ years of management experience
5 years of leading a project-based team preferably in transition services for defined contribution plans
Proven leadership and management capabilities
Process management and workflow improvement experience
Understanding of the group mutual fund/annuity business offered within Defined Contribution Plans
Ability to manage multiple issues and projects simultaneously involving various business units and levels within the organization
Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability
Excellent relationship management skills
Strong negotiation and decision-making skills
Previous sales presentation skills
Demonstrated strategic thinking and visioning on future functionality required to remain competitive
