Responsibilities
Develop and maintain CM plans (supporting overall system development plans)
Identify project artifacts that require configuration identification and necessary level of control
Configuration control - development and maintenance of configuration status accounting records to provide traceability of project artifacts
Change management – prepare and lead change control board meetings and retention of records
Support CM physical & process audits and respond to findings
Software build management (requires knowledge and experience with software and information technology systems)
Provide training to project teams on CM responsibilities and procedures
Qualification
Required
Bachelors of Science degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering
0-5 years of postgraduate engineering experience
Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance
Preferred
Experience with information technology, software engineering, or software build management
US Navy, DoD contractor, or similar complexity experience
Experience with formal CM tools (DOORS, GitLab, Jira)
Leadership experience in leading and developing teams
Ability to follow and enforce processes and procedures
Self-starter with the ability to work independently
Ability to adapt & learn tools & processes
Strong attention to detail
Strong Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational skills
