Accounting
Responsibilities
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
Prepare, post, and reconcile payroll
Prepare 1099 filings and compile W-9 information
Manage time effectively and compare actual hours against engagement budgets
Build proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Bill.com, FloQast, and Excel
Communicate professionally with clients and team members
Support continuous process improvement
Enter time daily to support accurate billing
Participate in training, CPE, and on-the-job learning
Uphold SEK’s standards of professionalism and confidentiality
Assist with special projects as assigned
Qualification
Required
Associate Degree in Accounting or relevant experience
Client-facing or customer service experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Strong communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail
Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
Demonstrated professionalism and confidentiality
Curiosity, willingness to learn, and initiative
