Human Resources Manager
Vantage Elevation LLC is an independent, industry-leading manufacturer of elevator components and systems. They are seeking an HR Manager to serve as a strategic partner to site leadership, providing guidance on workforce planning, employee relations, and performance management.

Responsibilities
Serve as a strategic HR partner to site leadership, providing guidance on workforce planning, organizational design, employee relations, and performance management
Coach managers on effective people leadership, including performance issues, development planning, and corrective action
Support change management initiatives and culture-building efforts aligned with company values
Lead employee relations activities, including investigations, corrective actions, and conflict resolution, ensuring consistency and compliance with company policy and applicable labor laws
Interpret and apply federal, state, and local employment laws (FMLA, ADA, FLSA, EEO, etc.)
Partner with leave administrators and benefits vendors as needed
Support union-related activities where applicable, including contract interpretation and issue resolution
Oversee recruiting and selection activities in partnership with Talent Acquisition
Support onboarding, training, and development initiatives
Partner with leadership on succession planning and internal mobility
Manage performance management processes, including goal setting, reviews, and calibration
Support compensation planning, job evaluations, leveling, and market alignment in partnership with Corporate HR/Compensation
Administer incentive programs (e.g., ICP/bonus plans) and support payout communications
Ensure accurate and timely processing of HR transactions in HRIS (e.g., employee changes, reporting, audits)
Maintain employee records and HR documentation in accordance with legal and company requirements
Analyze HR metrics (turnover, engagement, absenteeism, etc.) and provide insights to leadership
Support employee engagement initiatives, surveys, and action planning
Promote a positive, inclusive, and respectful workplace culture
Serve as a visible and approachable HR presence at the site
Qualification
Required
At least 5+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably in manufacturing or operations
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
Strong working knowledge of employment law and HR best practices
Demonstrated experience handling employee relations matters
Ability to influence and partner effectively with leaders at all levels
Preferred
HR Certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, etc.)
Experience supporting unionized environments
Experience with HRIS platforms (Paycom or similar)
