Executive Chief Manufacturing Engineering Leader

Responsibilities
Attract and retain talent, managing large teams while developing expertise in your function
Develop and implement strategy across the P&L
Develop roles that are experts in their discipline, providing professional or thought leadership
Influence policy and ensure delivery within your area of responsibility, linking with other parts of the organization
Interpret internal and external business challenges and recommend best practices to improve products, processes, or services
Utilize understanding of industry and regulatory trends to inform the decision-making process
Experience leading teams on a global scale
Regulatory experience working in global markets
Lead others to find creative solutions within complex manufacturing processes with technical variety and/or interdependent production cycles
Employ sophisticated operational/product management, manufacturing, or engineering techniques
Interact with adjacent functions to solve issues
Evaluate the quality of information received and question conflicting data for analysis
Use multiple internal and external resources outside of your function to help arrive at a decision
Lead functional teams or projects with moderate resource requirements, risk, and/or complexity
Present business or technical discipline solutions to leaders
Communicate complex messages and negotiate mainly internally with others to adopt a different point of view
Influence peers to take action and negotiate with external partners, vendors, or customers
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 14 years of experience in engineering, manufacturing engineering, industrial engineering, or operations)
Minimum of 10 years of experience in Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering or Operations
Travel up to 50% of the time
This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information. Therefore, employment will be contingent upon the ability to prove that you meet the status of a U.S. Person as one of the following: U.S. lawful permanent resident, U.S. Citizen, have been granted asylee or refugee status (i.e., a protected individual under the Immigration and Naturalization Act, 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3))

Experience with FLIGHT DECK fundamentals and tools

Deep expertise in manufacturing engineering disciplines, design engineering, new product introduction, and working cross functionally with commercial, operations, and engineering teams
Working knowledge of tollgate and manufacturing/technology readiness processes
Strong oral and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects
Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs. Established project management skills
