Responsibilities
Collaborate with project managers and clients to design plumbing plans
Develop comprehensive designs for plumbing systems, including domestic water supply, sanitary drainage, stormwater management, and gas distribution
Perform hydraulic calculations to determine flow rates, pipe sizes, pressure drops, and system performance metrics
Ensure all designs comply with local codes and regulations as well as best practices in sustainability
Meet project deadlines while maintaining quality standards
Qualification
Required
8+ years of plumbing design experience within hospitals, complex manufacturing, labs, or higher education
Capability to ensure all designs comply with local codes and regulations as well as best practices in sustainability
Ability to calculate pipe drops
Experience designing for at least one of the following: water softening systems, medical gas, lab gas, hospitals, complex manufacturing facilities, or labs
Preferred
A bachelor's degree is preferred
An engineering degree is a plus
Certification as a Plumbing Designer (CPD) is a huge plus
