Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable and reusable test automation frameworks to support functional, regression, integration, system, and acceptance testing
Define and execute comprehensive test strategies aligned with product architecture, risk, and regulatory requirements
Collaborate closely with software developers, product owners, and other stakeholders within Agile teams to embed quality throughout the SDLC
Develop and maintain automated test cases using industry-standard tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium, Cypress, JUnit, TestNG, Playwright)
Leverage AI-assisted testing tools (e.g., ChatGPT) to enhance automated test planning, execution, analysis, and reporting
Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines, ensuring fast feedback and continuous quality improvement
Analyze test results, identify root causes of defects, and provide actionable insights to development teams
Mentor and coach junior SDETs and QA engineers, promoting best practices in automation, testing methodologies, and coding standards
Contribute to test process improvements, standards, and documentation to support long-term maintainability and scalability
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in a related technical field (e.g., Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent)
Minimum 5 years of test automation experience
Proven experience with scripting languages such as Python, C#, Java, and/or JavaScript
Strong understanding of software testing methodologies (functional, non-functional, regression, integration, system, and acceptance testing)
Hands-on experience with test automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, Cypress, JUnit, and/or TestNG
Experience with CI/CD and test management tools such as Jira, HP ALM, Jenkins, GitLab CI, and/or Azure DevOps
Demonstrated experience using AI tools (such as ChatGPT) to support automated test planning, development, execution, analysis, and reporting
Proven ability to mentor and train junior team members
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred
Experience with Playwright
Experience in regulated environments (e.g., medical device, FDA)
