Responsibilities
Lead technology due diligence and value creation workstreams and analyses on behalf of PE investors targeting software businesses
Actively contribute across the entire client engagement, from formulating the project scope to building and presenting the final report
Drive and support the primary and secondary research efforts of the team; collect and analyze quantitative and qualitative data across a variety of sources
Conduct hypothesis-led problem solving, communicate complex ideas, and approach problems strategically
Effectively develop and communicate recommendations and insights to the project team, PE investors, and technology leaders
Invest in special initiatives and projects that help us scale the practice (ops/systems)
Qualification
Required
Minimum of three days per week working together in person, either at a client location or at your Bain home office
Travel is required. This position requires travel away from your home office/primary working location. Travel frequency and destinations will vary based on project needs
2+ years of experience in a software or technology-related position or industry
Ability to rapidly absorb and interpret technical information
Inquisitive mindset and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment
Passion for delivering high-impact client results in a fast-paced, evolving environment
Exceptional interpersonal skills and emotional agility, ability to interface across any level at Bain and client organizations
Outstanding oral and written communication skills
Desire to join a rapidly growing startup within a leading strategy consulting firm

Undergraduate degree from a top tier university in a relevant field (i.e., computer science, engineering, business management, information systems)
Preferred
Technical due diligence experience is strongly preferred and/or technical background in a PE firm
