Responsibilities
Cleans warehouse and outside buildings, parking lots, and the property perimeter
Mops, sweeps, and scrubs warehouse floors and walls
Empties Trash Cans, and Bins
Cleans offices and Restrooms
Cleans pick slots and under racking
Works safely with approved chemical
Works safely with Sweepers, Scrubbers, Lifts, Balers, Compactors, Pressure Washers, and Pallet Jacks
Properly scans and processes damaged, orphan cases and reclaim items
Properly process plastic and cardboard for recycling
Complete any additional responsibilities assigned by any warehouse management member
Follows Company's attendance and tardy policies
Follows Company's safety policies
Qualification
Required
Must be at least 18 years of age
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
Ability to write simple correspondence
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization
Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10s and 100s
Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions
Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Inventory software
Ability to successfully pass Industrial Equipment Certification Test on all equipment used in the function of this job
The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
Specific vision abilities required by this job include Close vision, Distance vision, Peripheral vision, Depth perception, and Ability to adjust focus
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand and walk
The employee is occasionally required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk or hear and taste or smell
