Responsibilities

Educate clients about investment strategies, trading tools, market mechanics, and retirement choices
Engage with clients and be an advocate when answering inbound calls
Take ownership and tackle complex issues to offer the best possible solution
Attend the Schwab Service Academy for paid training and support to obtain licenses

Required

Ability to work 8:00am – 4:30 pm Monday through Friday during Schwab's training program, on-site
After training is complete, ability to work assigned shift to accommodate business needs to include evening, overnight, and weekend options
Benefits of working evenings, overnight, and weekend shifts include increased compensation and remote work opportunities for qualifying shifts
Your Talent Advisor will walk you through the training schedule, available shift groups, and the shift assignment process during the interview

Preferred

Previous customer service or client relationship experience
Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited university
Ability to adapt to changes in the market and business
Passion for providing service to clients
Motivation to learn about the securities industry including the basic principles of equity, option, and mutual fund transactions
Robust communication to include influencing and client engagement skills
Desire to be part of a supportive and collaborative team
Demonstrated success navigating multiple computer applications
