Procurement Equity and Supplier Management Intern

Responsibilities

Upload and manage WMBE contract data in B2GNow to ensure accuracy and completeness
Review and validate 50–75 contract packages using tools like MSetworks and Masterworks to ensure contract accuracy and compliance
Collaborate with internal stakeholders—including Contracting Specialists, Contract Administrators, and Project Managers—to verify contract details and resolve discrepancies
Assist with data reconciliation and quality improvements using Excel-based tracking tools
Support dashboard maintenance and WMBE utilization tracking in B2GNow, contributing to performance reporting for internal and external stakeholders

Required

Enrolled in an accredited certificate, 2-year or 4-year undergraduate educational program during their internship
Undergraduate students will need to maintain a 2.0 GPA or above throughout the internship

Preferred

Enrolled in an academic program with focus on Data Analytics, Information Systems, Public Administration, or Business Administration
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data entry, reconciliation, and fundamental analysis functions (e.g., VLOOKUP, filters, pivot tables)
Strong attention to detail with the ability to review documents for accuracy and completeness
Experience or familiarity with contract management systems (e.g., B2GNow, MSetworks, Masterworks) or similar platforms
Practical written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate professionally with cross-functional stakeholders
Coursework or training in public administration, procurement, supply chain management, business operations, data analytics, or equity-focused policy
Demonstrated interest in equity, supplier diversity, or public service
