Automation Engineering Intern

The role involves supporting engineers with continuous improvement projects, facility layout projects, and new product launches, while gaining valuable hands-on experience in various aspects of engineering and operations.

Responsibilities
Lead and implement continuous improvement projects
Support other engineers and improvement initiatives
Participate and support facility layout projects, press installations and rearranges
Provide support to manufacturing and maintenance as needed
Perform data collection and processing as required
Create and/or modify documentation and training materials as needed
Participate in and support Kaizens and Continuous Improvement events
Support new product launches
Document machine and tooling improvements in Solid Works files
Qualification
Required
Pursuing a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or similar field of study
Is results-oriented and focused on the right metrics
Is an energetic, enthusiastic, responsible and highly accountable leader
Is a self-starter who is comfortable performing multi-functional tasks while achieving desired results; someone who isn't afraid to deal with challenges
Possesses a strong work ethic that is a unique blend of hustle, process capability and problem-solving skills
