Lead Mechanical Engineer - Enclosure Design
Masverde is a rapidly growing hardware company developing next-generation power electronics solutions for large-scale energy infrastructure. The Lead Mechanical Engineer will lead mechanical engineering efforts for large industrial enclosures, designing parts and assemblies, and collaborating with various teams to maintain end-to-end ownership of designs.

Responsibilities
Design mass-manufacturable components for industrial enclosures, including structural elements, plastics, insulators, seals, and various joint types (welded, riveted, bolted, adhesive)
Take ownership of mechanical designs from initial concept through manufacturing and release
Apply first-principles design and engineering analysis for optimization (structural, tolerance, manufacturability)
Create detailed 3D models and 2D engineering drawings (experience with CATIA V6/3DX beneficial)
Conduct hands-on prototyping and testing
Collaborate across mechanical, electrical, reliability, manufacturing teams and external suppliers
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field
5+ years of experience designing outdoor-rated industrial enclosures for electromechanical equipment
5+ years working with 3D CAD tools
Strong mechanical fundamentals with familiarity in basic electronics
Experience in high-volume manufacturing processes: sheet metal forming, stamping, injection molding, die casting, extrusion, fastening, welding, etc
Knowledge of ingress protection and sealing strategies
Strong communication skills and ability to operate both independently and within a team
High attention to detail with strong problem-solving ability
Preferred
Experience with CATIA V6/3DX a plus
