Accumulation Technician

Responsibilities

Maintain received WIP inventory by identifying, labeling, and placing materials in stock; recording location of inventory
Accumulate and process parts to ensure configuration accuracy and engine on time delivery
Document materials disposition by recording parts delivered and location of parts
Troubleshoot material related issues to include interaction with cross-functional teams
Support material activities and problem solving through advanced usage of Oracle, Shop Floor Management (SFM) and Smartsheet
Ability to interpret Illustrated Parts Breakdown, smart shop, Service Bulletins
Coordinate and track parts credit returns and reallocations
Collect data, run reports, track, and communicate status daily
Perform material-handling equipment pre-use inspections for safe operation and delivery
Responsible for ordering and receiving of material required to meet committed engine build date
Assist in annual plant wide physical inventory
Great attention to detail while working to a deadline
Self-starter, positive attitude, work well with others, and strive to implement continuous improvement projects
The ability to work in a team-oriented environment while maintaining an individual workload
The ability to perform job duties with a sense of urgency and focused on safety
Excellent verbal, written communication, and interpersonal skills in English
Train new employees as required
Ability to function in a face paced environment
Ability to prioritize responsibilities and requests
Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualification

Required

High School Diploma / GED
Minimum of one year experience in a warehouse, stockroom, or storage yard
Ability to be able to lift, push, and pull at least 40 pounds
Ability to operate a forklift rated for over 15,000 pounds
Able to read, write, and communicate in English language

Preferred

Previous Material Handling experience
Advanced computer skills (Oracle, SFM or another warehouse management system and MS Excel)
Be able to read Illustrated Parts Breakdowns (IPB), Work-scope, and Service Bulletins
Certified to operate forklift or ability to be certified under Aero Alliance standards
Certified in crane and rigging operations
Understanding of Lean Manufacturing and / or Six Sigma Training
Great attention to detail while working to a deadline
Self-starter, positive attitude, work well with others, and strive to implement continuous improvement projects
The ability to work in a team-oriented environment while maintaining an individual workload
Ability to function in a face paced environment
