Business Development Representative (Remote)
Simera is seeking a driven and energetic Business Development Representative (BDR) with hands-on experience in Healthcare, Health Tech, or Health Insurance. This role focuses on building pipeline through high-volume cold calling and outreach in a fast-paced startup environment.

Responsibilities
Conduct high-volume outbound cold calls daily to generate qualified leads
Build and maintain a healthy top-of-funnel pipeline across healthcare clients and prospects
Execute outreach sequences using modern tools and workflows — no legacy systems
Manage all prospecting activity within Attio (CRM), ensuring clean data and strong organization
Qualify leads, schedule meetings, and hand off to Account Executives or leadership
Continuously test and optimize outreach strategies to improve connection and conversion rates
Represent the company professionally during every interaction — calls, emails, and follow-ups
Collaborate with leadership on messaging, scripts, and target list expansion
Qualification
Required
Mandatory experience in Healthcare, Health Tech, or Health Insurance sales or outreach
Proven ability to handle high outbound call volume daily
Strong communication skills with a professional audio setup and noise-free environment — non-negotiable
Comfortable using modern prospecting tools and CRM systems (Attio experience a plus)
Self-motivated, resilient, competitive, and eager to exceed targets
Comfortable working independently and asynchronously when needed
Preferred
Startup experience strongly preferred; ability to operate in fast-moving, iterative environments
