New Grad, Entry LevelTrinity Health is an organization focused on treating the whole person, physically, emotionally, and spiritually. They are seeking a Lab Assistant to perform clerical and laboratory phlebotomy procedures, maintain logs and records, and manage inventory and billing processes.

Responsibilities
Obtains registration information from patients and patient signatures as outlined according to procedure
Explains health care policies and procedures to patients
Obtains and interprets physician orders and diagnoses and performs the clerical functions related to ordering of ancillary services
Distribute laboratory reports and retrieve patient results
Qualification
Required
High school graduate required
Well-developed communication skills, both written and oral. Able to communicate effectively with individuals and groups representing diverse perspectives
Department operation provides 24-hour coverage, 365 days per year, which may require working a variety of shifts and days of the week
Must be able to be reached at home by telephone
Preferred
Associates preferred
Knowledge of medical terminology preferred
Phlebotomy experience preferred
