Quality Inspector - 2nd Shift

Responsibilities

Conduct detailed inspections of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure they meet company quality standards and customer specifications
Identify defects such as dimensional inaccuracies, surface imperfections, or material inconsistencies and document findings accurately
Use measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, tape measures) to verify product dimensions and tolerances
Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to quality control protocols and recommend adjustments when necessary
Work closely with production operators, supervisors, and the teammates to address quality concerns and implement solutions
Ensure all inspection activities comply with company policies, safety standards, and industry regulations

Required

Proven experience in quality inspection within a manufacturing or wood panel processing environment
Skilled in using tools such as calipers, micrometers, tape measures, or other precision instruments for inspections
Strong ability to identify defects or deviations from specifications with accuracy and consistency
Ability to maintain detailed inspection records and communicate findings effectively
Capability to recommend corrective actions or process improvements based on inspection results
Effective communication skills for working with production teams to resolve quality issues promptly
Commitment to maintaining a safe workspace by adhering to safety protocols during inspections
Competence in using software or systems for logging inspection data and generating reports
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
