Responsibilities
Lead a team of software engineers in the development, support, and delivery of enterprise applications, ensuring alignment with strategic project goals and organizational priorities
Contribute to the development and implementation of application development strategies, policies, standards, and procedures
Oversee the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), ensuring adherence to best practices, coding standards, and change management protocols
Recommend and support technical objectives related to integration, reporting, security, and disaster recovery planning
Maintain a deep understanding of supported applications, including their limitations, opportunities, and market alternatives
Manage multiple concurrent projects and tasks, effectively prioritizing and delegating responsibilities to meet deadlines
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document user requirements, troubleshoot application issues, and recommend scalable solutions
Ensure system health and stability through proactive maintenance, timely issue escalation, and continuous monitoring
Support software implementations, including testing, documentation, and end-user training and troubleshooting
Stay current with industry trends, tools, and certifications through ongoing professional development and training
Qualification
Required
Bachelors, Computer Science, CIS, Math or Related
PMI PMP Certification
5 Years within IT
5 years experience in Hospital / Healthcare, or major corporation IT setting with multiple locations
3 years hands on experience managing portfolio of applications and managing the full application lifecycle (implementation, support, and retirement)
1 year experience with BI tools, preferably SAP
3 years minimum experience in IT Services (ITIL, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodology)
Experience developing and managing BI strategy, governance and support models for business systems
3 Years Management Experience
Above Average Verbal (Heavy Public Contact)
