Director, DT Planning and Delivery [Hybrid]

Responsibilities
Builds, develops, deploys, and guides a high-performing team across PMO, financial operations, and vendor management disciplines
Serves as a trusted advisor to DT leadership on investment decisions and resource allocation
Partners with business stakeholders to understand their needs and communicate DT's capacity and delivery commitments
Leads ongoing efforts to optimize DT spending and improve operational efficiencies
Identifies cost opportunities across vendors, contracts, infrastructure, and operations, and drives initiatives to capture that value
Establishes analytical capabilities to benchmark costs and measure optimization progress over time
Stands-up and matures the DT PMO function, establishing consistent processes for how work enters DT, gets prioritized, resourced, and delivered
Defines intake and demand management processes that give leadership clear visibility into the pipeline and enables informed trade-off decisions
Implements portfolio management practices that balance capacity with demand while ensuring alignment to strategic priorities
Establishes delivery frameworks appropriate to different work types—whether traditional project management, agile delivery, or hybrid approaches—and creates the governance rhythms that keep initiatives on track
Builds the value realization discipline, reporting realized ROI and tracks and evaluates whether investments actually deliver expected benefits and results
Owns the financial management lifecycle for DT, including annual budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
Manages capital and operating expense planning, works with finance partners to ensure accurate accounting treatment and reporting
Develops the reporting and dashboards that give leadership clear line-of-sight into spend patterns and financial health
Manages the DT contract request process from initiation through execution, serving as the primary DT interface with procurement and legal functions
Leads commercial negotiations for technology contracts, ensures favorable terms, appropriate scope definition, and alignment with DT standards and architecture
Establishes vendor management practices that track performance against contractual commitments, manages renewals proactively, and maintains healthy strategic relationships with key technology partners
Developing the analytical rigor to evaluate total cost of ownership, compare vendor proposals, and make sound build-vs-buy recommendations

Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, or associated field of study, required
Eight years in digital project management, financial planning, or operations roles required
A minimum of three years leading people and teams
Experience negotiating technology contracts and managing vendor relationships
Experience establishing or significantly maturing a PMO function
Experience in organizations undergoing significant transformation or growth
Preferred
Master's degree preferred
Experience with technology business management or digital financial management frameworks is preferred
PMP, PgMP, or portfolio management certifications preferred
