Engineering Student Assistant II-IV (Hydroelectric)

Responsibilities
Gather, compile, tabulate, and report statistical data
Assist in research projects, special reports, and special projects
Compile requests for proposals and bid documents
Organize electronic and hard copy drawings and construction plans
Assist with warehouse inventory counts
Respond to inquiries and requests for assistance
Perform related duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Academic status at an accredited college or university taking courses as a full-time student leading to a Civil, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering degree or a degree in a field related to the work which is performed
General Engineering Methodologies in Civil or Mechanical discipline
Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, database familiarity, general computer skills
Recordkeeping and organizational methodologies
Office equipment and systems such as phones, copiers, scanners, and email
Be self-paced and motivated and request help when needed
Use research techniques, methods, and procedures
Communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
Collect, compile, analyze, interpret, and present statistical data
Routinely work outdoors in severe weather conditions, walk up and down steep slopes, and climb ladders with a 25-pound backpack
