New Grad, Entry LevelElectriCities of NC is seeking a dedicated and safety-conscious Electric Line Technician to join the Town of Louisburg's electrical distribution team. This role involves performing technical work in the construction, maintenance, and repair of electrical distribution lines to ensure the community's power infrastructure is reliable and safe.

Responsibilities
Assist in pulling primary/secondary lines, hanging transformers, and repairing street lights
Operate and maintain line trucks, bucket trucks, backhoes, trenchers, and other heavy equipment
Respond to service calls for hook-ups, disconnections (including non-payment), and basic troubleshooting
Perform tree trimming and clearing to ensure line safety
Dig trenches, set poles, and install underground cables and transformers
Qualification
Required
High school diploma supplemented by technical training in electrical principles
Experience in a skilled trade (preferably electrical) or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Possession of or ability to obtain a valid Class A North Carolina Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
Possession of, or the ability to obtain, ElectriCities Line Tech certification
Strong knowledge of electrical principles, safety precautions, and the ability to maintain effective working relationships with the public
