The primary responsibility of this role is to assist residents who are functionally, physically, and/or socially impaired and require 24-hour oversight.

Assistance with activities of daily living
Medication and bathing assistance
Responding to the nurse call and pendant system
Assistance with dressing, safety checks, and more
Qualification
Required
pleasant individual with strong customer service attributes and willingness to work with aging population
ability to remain calm and think clearly in emergencies, responding and acting in an appropriate manner
must be mentally alert and have the ability to effectively plan and organize assignments in the most efficient manner
must demonstrate an appreciation of the heritage, values, and wisdom of the residents and an understanding of the aging process
Preferred
PCA or patient/resident care experience preferred
High School Diploma/GED preferred
