Financial Planning and Analysis Manager

LHH is supporting a confidential healthcare organization in their search for a Finance Manager / FP&A Manager to oversee financial planning, budgeting, and performance analysis. This role involves partnering with senior leadership and requires strong analytical skills to influence strategic decision-making within a multi-entity healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

Lead the annual budgeting and long-range financial planning processes across multiple business units
Develop financial models that support forecasting, scenario planning, and data-driven decision making
Analyze operational and financial performance, highlighting risks, opportunities, and improvement recommendations
Consolidate financial results and prepare executive-level reports and presentations
Provide monthly variance analysis with actionable insights tied to KPIs and operational drivers
Partner with operations, revenue cycle, and department heads to support financial discipline and strategic initiatives
Improve and standardize FP&A processes, dashboards, and analytical tools
Support M&A, new service line launches, and capital investment analysis as needed

Required

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA or CPA a plus)
5+ years of progressive FP&A or finance experience; healthcare industry experience strongly preferred
Proven ability to prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial models
Strong understanding of healthcare metrics, revenue cycle drivers, and multi-entity financial environments
Advanced Excel skills; experience with BI tools, ERP systems, or dashboarding platforms beneficial
Exceptional communication and presentation skills—comfortable partnering with senior executives
A proactive, analytical mindset with a passion for improving processes and driving operational performance

Preferred

MBA or CPA a plus
Healthcare industry experience strongly preferred
Experience with BI tools, ERP systems, or dashboarding platforms beneficial
