Human Resource Assistant

Master•Care, Inc. is a Managed Services Organization (MSO) focused on bridging medical and non-medical services under California’s CalAIM program. The HR Assistant role involves providing administrative support for daily HR functions such as maintaining employee records, onboarding new hires, and processing payroll, while ensuring confidentiality and accuracy in HR operations.

Responsibilities

Conduct background checks, prepare offer letters
Maintain and update employee databases & files
Coordinate new hire orientations, process paperwork, assist with exit interviews and termination processes
Assist with benefits administration, payroll processing, and resolving related issues
Schedule meetings, manage HR calendars, answer employee questions, prepare reports, and handle departmental emails
Support HR manager with policy implementation, address grievances, and ensure compliance
Assist with special projects in coordination with Leadership Team

Required

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in HR or a related field, or 3-5 years experience in a Humans Resources role
Ability to anticipate, including an awareness that goes beyond the task-at-hand
Attention to detail and quality control
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Proficient with Web based technology
Proficient with Microsoft office suite
Punctual, organized and efficient
Maintains a professional demeanor
Demonstrated skills in planning, scheduling, coordinating and evaluating projects
General skills in program planning, implementation and evaluation
Excellent interpersonal skills
Ability to embrace organizational goals and work in a team-oriented environment
Ability to adhere to professional boundaries and confidentiality requirements
Strong organizational skills and time management skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
The ability to perform the physical demands of this position, including: Sit and/or stand for long periods, Navigate stairs, bend, and reach, Lift, push, or pull a minimum of 10 lbs
Some Travel for Company Meetings may be required

Preferred

Bilingual or multilingual is desired but not required
