Franklin International is a leading manufacturer of adhesives and sealants, and they are seeking an Engineering Intern to assist their engineering staff. The intern will help optimize existing processes and support the introduction of new products into the manufacturing environment.

Generate, update, and or optimize procedures for new and established processes
Scale formulations and products to new equipment
Collect and share production data
Develop rework plans for non-conforming product
Support modifications and re-loading of WIP and Packaging batch sheets

Qualification

Chemical EngineeringOrganic ChemistryProcess OptimizationData CollectionMS ExcelMS Word

Required

Current student majoring in Chemical Engineering or other relevant engineering field
Able to work 40 hours a week during the summer (during regular business hours, Monday through Friday)
Co-op or internship experience
Completed Major's introductory courses
Completed Organic Chemistry I (or higher)
3.2 GPA or higher
Familiarity with applicable computer software (MS Excel, MS Word)

Preferred

Junior or senior status this fall
3.6 GPA or higher
