Responsibilities

Assist in designing, developing, and deploying AI/ML models to solve business challenges in financial markets, including tasks like data preprocessing, model training, validation, and monitoring
Work closely with senior engineers and business stakeholders to integrate AI capabilities into existing systems and workflows
Contribute to proof-of-concept projects and rapid prototyping to explore emerging technologies (e.g., Generative AI, blockchain)
Support documentation, testing, and performance tuning of AI models to ensure scalability, robustness, and compliance with financial industry standards
Participate in team discussions to refine AI strategies, ensuring solutions align with business objectives and regulatory requirements
Stay updated on industry trends, share insights, and propose improvements to enhance the team’s AI capabilities

Qualification

Required

Bachelor's Degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related Quantitative field
1 – 5 years of coding in Python; including experience with libraries such as Pandas or NumPy for data manipulation and visualization
Familiarity with building and training machine learning models (e.g., regression, classification, clustering) using frameworks like Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch
Exposure to natural language processing (NLP) concepts, such as text preprocessing, sentiment analysis, or basic chatbot implementations
Understanding of image processing techniques (e.g., OpenCV) or document parsing (e.g., OCR tools) for tasks like data extraction
Awareness of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their AI/ML services

Preferred

Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related Quantitative field
Familiarity with Blockchain, AWS SageMaker, or Azure ML
Exposure to the Financial Industry or background in applying AI/ML for financial uses cases such as forecasting or fraud detection
