Responsibilities

Investigating T-cell plasticity through integrated metabolic, signaling, and functional studies using primary murine and human T cells
Studying kinase-driven metabolic reprogramming in immune cells using genetically encoded and small-molecule fluorescent biosensors to monitor dynamic signaling and metabolic states at single-cell resolution
Generating, breeding, and maintaining genetically modified mouse lines, including reporter, fate-mapping, and conditional knockout models, and overseeing the organization and health of the mouse colony
Performing in vivo fate-mapping studies to track lineage stability and transdifferentiation of T-cell subsets under physiological and pathological conditions
Conducting comprehensive immunological and molecular biology assays, including flow cytometry, multicolor immunophenotyping, cell sorting, Western blotting, qPCR, ELISA, and immunofluorescence microscopy
Leading and executing studies in preclinical disease models, including solid organ transplantation models, experimental autoimmune encephalomyelitis (EAE), and additional models of autoimmunity and immune dysregulation
Performing functional immune assays to assess T-cell suppressive capacity, activation, cytokine production, and metabolic fitness
Analyzing and interpreting complex biological datasets in collaboration with computational and chemical biology teams
Assisting with laboratory organization and operations, including experimental planning, reagent management, protocol optimization, and maintenance of shared laboratory resources
