The Data Engineer II/III develops and performs data migration / ETL processes for store launches, investigates and fixes data issues related to imported data, and assists in the development of internal data and reporting tools.

Responsibilities
Onboard new customers by scrubbing data and importing from multiple data sources during and outside of business hours
Work with ShareFile, AWS S3, and staging databases
Write, execute, and validate DML, DDL, and DCL scripts to meet business and customer needs
Independently investigate and resolve issues related to imported data
Develop custom scripts and automation tools for import and onboarding processes
Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members
Qualification
Required
3+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server and T-SQL experience
Ability to balance business and technical objectives when making decisions
Ability to balance multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment
Comfort with after-hours work and on-call responsibilities
Understanding of data governance and compliance
Exceptional communication, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical skills are a must
Have a positive, can-do attitude
Preferred
1+ year of scripting and managing ETL solutions
Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL
Hands-on experience with Power BI
Hands-on experience with C# and/or Python development
Experience with AI tools and platforms for data engineering
Familiarity with AWS (EC2, RDS, S3, CloudWatch, Route 53)
Experience with ShareFile and enterprise file transfer solutions
Understanding of multi-phase import strategies
