Responsibilities

Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial reporting
Ensure the integrity of accounting systems and compliance with all statutory, regulatory, and audit requirements
Manage risk through effective internal controls, insurance, and compliance programs
Lead the management of working capital, including AP/AR optimization and cash management
Supervise technical accounting, consolidations, and financial statement preparation
Collaborate with executive leadership to create and implement short- and long-term business strategies aligned with company goals
Provide financial analysis and modeling for new business ventures, major projects, mergers, acquisitions, or divestitures
Evaluate and optimize business models, capital structures, and project financing options
Support exit strategy planning, if applicable
Drive cost and profitability management initiatives, including process improvement and operational efficiency projects
Partner with construction project leaders to develop project budgets, track project performance, and implement effective cost controls
Support finance transformation initiatives, including adoption of new systems, data analytics, and reporting tools
Lead capital planning and execution, including debt and equity financing, liaising with banks and investors
Oversee treasury functions and cash management to ensure liquidity and optimal use of capital resources
Guide the organization through IPO readiness or other capital market transactions if needed
Build and mentor a high-performing finance and accounting team
Foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement
Serve as a strategic advisor to the CEO and Board of Directors

Required

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or MBA preferred)
Significant progressive finance leadership experience within the construction industry or a related sector
Proven track record of strategic planning, financial turnaround, or business optimization projects
Strong knowledge of job costing, project accounting, and construction contract financials
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
