Responsibilities
Design and guide real partner integrations: map requirements to GoTab API endpoints, auth models, webhooks, and data flows and see them through from sandbox to production
Build the stuff partners rely on: Postman collections, API specs, sample apps (Node/TypeScript), and reference webhooks that demonstrate best practices
Explain the tricky bits clearly: rate limits, idempotency, retries, pagination, and schema nuances so devs leave confident instead of confused
Debug like a pro across boundaries: inspect logs/traces, reproduce payloads, and help isolate issues in partner code, our SDKs, or APIs
Qualification
Required
A CS degree or equivalent knowledge you earned building cool things
Understanding of async JavaScript (ES6+), Node.js, HTML5, CSS3
Solid grasp of REST and GraphQL APIs
Excellent communication skills (making complicated concepts simple)
Curiosity, hustle, and a love for learning
Preferred
Experience with MarkoJS (our go-to framework)
PostgreSQL prowess
Linux command-line confidence
Hospitality/restaurant industry experience (you'll speak our customers' language!)
