Marking utility poles with Identification Tags
Dig holes around poles for inspection or treatment
Use drills, tensioners, and crimpers
Check for insect/termite damage
Assist in installing steel trusses or replacing poles
Maintain clean job sites
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or the equivalent required
Must be able to lift and carry twenty (20) pounds
Sufficient clarity of speech and hearing or other communication capabilities, with or without reasonable accommodation, which permits employee to communicate effectively
Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time with or without reasonable accommodation
Sufficient vision or other powers of observation which permits employee to conduct analysis and investigations
Sufficient manual dexterity with or without reasonable accommodation, which permit the employee to perform routine office duties
Sufficient personal mobility and physical reflexes to perform office duties and travel when necessary to off-site locations
Must be able to work in outdoor conditions (including elevated heat and cold conditions)
Preferred
Associates' Degree or Technical Training Certificate or equivalent in project management, construction management, construction, electrical, drafting, business, military training or related field preferred
