Responsibilities
Solution Design & Optimization
Design supply chain solutions across planning, sourcing, manufacturing, warehousing, and transportation
Analyze current-state processes and develop future-state models to improve cost, service, and resilience
Develop network optimization, capacity planning, and inventory optimization models
Support make/buy, sourcing, and distribution strategy decisions
Data Analysis & Modeling
Build quantitative models using data analytics, simulation, and scenario analysis
Use tools such as Excel, SQL, Python, or specialized supply chain software to evaluate tradeoffs
Develop KPIs, dashboards, and reporting to track solution performance
Technology & Systems Integration
Collaborate with IT and vendors to implement supply chain systems (e.g., WMS, TMS, ERP, planning tools)
Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications
Support system testing, deployment, and post-implementation optimization
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with operations, procurement, finance, sales, and customer teams
Support RFPs, vendor evaluations, and solution costing
Present solution recommendations to leadership and stakeholders
Continuous Improvement
Identify opportunities for automation, digitization, and process standardization
Lead or support Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement initiatives
Stay current on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Logistics, or a related field
3–7+ years of experience in supply chain engineering, operations, consulting, or solutions design
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience designing or optimizing supply chain networks, processes, or systems
Proficiency in Excel and data analysis; experience with SQL, Python, or similar tools preferred
Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex concepts clearly
Preferred
Master's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, or Business
Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and supply chain tools (Blue Yonder, Kinaxis, Manhattan, SAP IBP, etc.)
Experience in logistics, manufacturing, e-commerce, or distribution environments
Lean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or higher)
Consulting or customer-facing experience
